COURSE OVERVIEW

Publishing in international refutable journals is indeed an ultimate target for most of academician and researchers. Publishing in ISI journals has some weight in promotion for academicians. Even in some research university, post-graduate student has to submit their articles to refereed journals before being graduated. As such, the know-how of writing and publishing in those journals is very important.

The purpose of this course, therefore, is to help participants to develop their ability to write a good article for publishing in international refutable journals. Participants will learn the process of article writing and the strategy of submission, besides the do and don’t of publishing in international journals.

OBJECTIVES

At the end of the course, participants will be more confident and able to:

SPEAKER’S PROFILE

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR DR ERNEST CYRIL DE RUN—is a lecturer from the Faculty Economics and Business, University Malaysia Sarawak. He obtained his first degree from UKM, and Master and PhD from Waikato and Otago, New Zealand. His specializations are in marketing, promotions, and cross cultural studies. Ernest is extensively published in international scholarly journals and so far, he has published more than 50 articles by various ISI journals. He has conducted extensive training for various governments departments and corporations. He has a high energetic style of presentation that encourages active participation and sustains participants’ interest.

4. We reserved the right to change the date or venue, and to cancel the training programmed should circumstances beyond our control arise. We shall inform the participants of the changes.

We understand that the fee is not refundable is we withdraw after our registration is accepted by the organizer but substitution of participants will be allowed.
